Art & Life with Natasha Rindt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Rindt.

Orange County native, Natasha Rindt, is best known for her hand-lettering, fluid art, and bright colored paintings. She first picked up a brush when she was only 4 years old, and she never wanted to put it down. Replicating the greats, like Monet and Van Gogh, Natasha continued developing her skills and at age 16, she tackled her first mural, a cityscape of Florence, Italy.

Natasha redirected her passion for art to the big screen by studying Digital Arts at Chapman University. She created the animated short film Miss Roboto, which played in over 20 film festivals around the world.

After graduating, she returned to her studio art roots and began painting murals and signs in homes and business across Southern California, creating custom paintings for various clients, and teaching private art lessons to all ages. She loves spreading the joy of art and using it as a form of relaxation.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I create bright-colored paintings, abstract fluid art, hand-painted signs, pet portraits, murals, and more! My inspiration comes from the beauty of the world around me along with my inner emotions. I’m deeply inspired by the cosmos, the ocean, and the connections I have with other human beings. Whether it’s a custom realistic painting or an abstract fluid piece, my ultimate goal is to put a smile on people’s faces and make them feel love, joy, relaxation, and connection.

What would you recommend to an artist new to the city, or to art, in terms of meeting and connecting with other artists and creatives?
Long hours of painting in the studio can be lonely, which is why I enjoy teaching private art lessons and hosting paint party events ( I like to provide a space where beginners and advanced artists alike can create together and have a great time doing it! Laughter and good vibes help us build a connection and inspire one another.
