Art & Life with Sabrina Hansen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Hansen.

Sabrina, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I have been an artist since I was very young. I have used many outlets of art such as music, painting, drawing, photography, sewing, but the one that feeds my soul the most is my hair artistry. I can remember doing my friends hair on the playground since the third grade when I first learned how to french braid. Since then, it has always been my dream to pursue the hair industry and make women look and feel amazing by creating a beautiful transformation.

I have been trained by some of the top leaders in our industry and am currently focusing my career on Hair Extensions. I first learned how to do hair extensions while still attending beauty school. It has been my quest to be able to offer the safest, most natural looking method available. I wear extensions because I am a happier, more confident person when I have them in. I am so grateful that I can offer women the same confidence by making them feel more beautiful and powerful than ever before.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I am a hair extension specialist. I use a method called Natural Beaded Rows to create beautiful transformations that bring women the most confidence they’ve ever experienced. The message is that when a woman feels a certain way, she can become somebody that she never knew could exist. When a woman feels confident and powerful, she becomes a better, mother, wife, career woman, friend. It is not just hair extensions; it is a feeling.

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Own your power and know your worth. As artists, we let ourselves be taken advantage of, and we become slaves to our craft. Never forget your core values and always put those first. A happy artist is a successful one.
