Art & Life with SoxGnar

Today we’d like to introduce you to SoxGnar.

SoxGnar, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
From a young age, all of us have dreamed of creating music for the masses for the sake of bringing everyone together for a good time. Formed in 2018 and released our first album March 2019, We have quickly started performing shows as much as possible and even managed to be featured as Brew Rebellions featured Band of the month with a beer bottle in our honor. We cannot wait for what the future holds.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
We create music for people who want to escape their day to day problems and just have a good time. To be able to create that type of atmosphere truly is an honor and a privilege. We hope people take home the feeling of being unified under the power of music and never forget that. We think this world can be a better place if we can give them that experience.

What responsibility, if any, do you think artists have to use their art to help alleviate problems faced by others? Has your art been affected by issues you’ve concerned about?
The role of an artist has not changed in our opinion, only the way their art is seen/heard. These events can really help with everyone being able to witness the arts all in one place.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
Catch us on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to see past shows and announcements for upcoming shows. We have an album out on all streaming platforms. It is titled Gnar (cotics).
