Today we’d like to introduce you to Zachary Sawchuk.
Zachary, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I started my journey with photography in high school with my original Canon Rebel. I took intro to photography and fell in love with taking photos. I never took photography too seriously until I got into college, since I had so much extra time. I upgraded my gear by purchasing a Canon t3i and soon after, upgraded to a Canon 6D. I explored all around Los Angeles which is where I went to school and really refined my skill. After I graduated college, I moved down to beautiful San Diego which is where I am now.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I love creating imagery of the areas I am in that others have not seen before. I love inspiring people to get out and explore the areas around them because you will always be surprised at what you will find. Exploring gets you outside away from the television and involved with the community.
In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
Being original. It seems that almost everything has been done but you just have to look at the same locations and figure out how you can capture it in a different way.
What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
