Check out Chris and Kacey Arreola’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris and Kacey Arreola.

Chris and Kacey, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
We’ve been together since 2012, married in 2017, and spent 2018 figuring out what we needed to do to start our photography business. We reached out to friends to help us build our portfolio and our confidence, and once we started booking clients, it started getting real. We both still work our nine-to-fives, but we consider those our side hustle because every client we book and every photo we post is a step we’re taking towards attaining this dream that we’ve had of providing this hella lavish lifestyle for our cat and three dogs haha. But for real, we love love and being able to capture that for more and more clients is everything to us right now.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
The short answer: Wedding and Lifestyle Photography and Videography.
The real answer: We’re storytellers. While we both love photography, our favorite sessions allow us to do both photo and video. We love to third-wheel with couples while they wander around, make-out, and slow dance. We use our cameras to tell your love story. We love hanging out with our clients and getting to know their story because it really makes us strive to capture genuine moments of their love, whether it’s a couple, a family, or even a dog mom and her fur baby.

Do current events, local or global, affect your work and what you are focused on?
We feel the role of an artist has always been to use their art as a platform, no matter what the message may be. The only message we strive to get across to people is that our art is inclusive, we love ALL love. All the hate in this world doesn’t affect our art because what we do is about the expression of love; doing what we love and capturing our clients’ love.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
