Check Out Cindy Le’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cindy Le.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all started in high school, I found an interest in doing my own lashes and brows. I always had big plans on building my own business but never knew where to start. In my senior year of high school, I began to educate myself, becoming an aesthetician and lashing. I was working two jobs during the time and was building my portfolio! I finally opened my bookings for people last summer and did not get one booking. I took that entire month off to practice and re-opened up/launched the next month. That month was a huge success since I booked out completely.

Ever since, I get completely booked every month, which I’m so grateful for! Truly the best feeling and I saw all my hard work was paying off. I honestly manifested my business and stayed consistent. By all means, I am not where I want to be, I see bigger plans for myself, but I came a long way with my business. I had huge opportunities with lashing a few influencers and SD Voyage! It’s really nice seeing that my page is getting recognition from people I would never have thought would catch their eyes. I am currently attending SDSU, majoring in Biology to become a cosmetic dermatologist. In hopes of carrying on with my business as well.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Working in the beauty industry can be a bit difficult and very competitive. From the beginning, I wanted to differentiate myself from other artists and figure out my specialties! There were days I would work from morning to midnight and studied my work! It’s tough finding a balance for your business, social life, self-care, and school. I’m still currently trying to figure it out but we all struggle with balance!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work on client’s lashes and brows! I specialize in lash extensions and brow lamination. I’m proud of my consistency and determination with my ongoing learning. What sets me apart is my work, it speaks for itself and it’s quality.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
The importance of keeping my client’s health safe has always been a factor. I take precautions to not go to huge events in order to keep my business and clients safe.
