Check out Sait Alanyali’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sait Alanyali.

Sait, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I’m an industrial designer from Istanbul, Turkey. I have been designing, manufacturing and selling my products for almost 6 years now. I’ve been coming to California for the last 3-4 years, I loved San Diego and decided to move here last year. Since I moved I worked as a freelance designer for start-ups but I’m also working on my own projects.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I design everyday objects that people would find functional, simple and sleek. Most of the time the inspiration for these objects come from my own experiences. If I find myself questioning the design of an object, I challenge myself to find a better solution. And if I find a better design solution, I hope people see the same improvement as me. My aim is to leave people with better design than they are using for a specific object.

Artists face many challenges, but what do you feel is the most pressing among them?
Internet. More precisely social media. It’s a blessing as well as a challenge. It’d take a lot of time, money and effort to reach a good number of people and share your work with them.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
They can see my work at www.saitalanyali.com , www.behance.net/salanyali and all /saitalanyali social media accounts. I’m also working on a new brand which will be out this summer called PLAconcept. They can check www.placoncept.com and all /placoncept social media accounts soon.
