Community Highlights: Meet Danielle Palmer of Daily Dose Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Palmer.

Hi Danielle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Thanks for having me! Well, first and foremost I work in the realm of pain management but I use alternative and Holistic modalities to do so. I’m a Neuromuscular Therapist but my specialty is working with a device that mimics the nervous system and utilizes frequency. It’s not something many people have heard of but let me tell you…this device is genius. I initially was introduced to this incredible medical device just as I was finishing up my BA at Cal State Fullerton. I had a couple of friends that were in the medical field and were blown away by this machine called SCENAR. I was initially pretty skeptical but after trying it myself I was pretty amazed! I had been in a car accident a few years prior and had residual whiplash pain as well as chronic tension type headaches daily. Someone worked on me for about 15 minutes and I could move my neck more than I had in years and my headache that was building was gone. I was sold.

From there, I got trained by the factory reps of the time Scenar Health USA, and worked in a private practice with an MD and RN. After 7 years I decided to venture out on my own and in doing so wanted to seek the best training possible so I reached out to Dr. Lena Subbotina, the step daughter of Dr. Alexander Revenko who was one of the inventors of this device. I traveled to London, England three times over the last few years and received advanced training from Dr. Lena Subbotina, Dr. Galina Subbotina (his wife), and Dr. Alexander Revenko himself.

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful this family is and how incredibly lucky I feel to know them and now call them friends. It’s not often you find people that are so giving in this world but Revenko continues to dedicate his life to supporting all his therapists around the world and creating new methods to help people. Flash forward to the 11 year mark of working with this machine and I’m still amazed. Over the years I’ve gotten the chance to work on a wide variety of issues from sports injury to chronic pain and everything in between. It’s a great feeling to love what you do and get to help people everyday, I don’t think I’ll ever retire.

Now, I run my own practice in Newport Beach as well as work providing pain relief for cancer patients at the Center for New Medicine and Pelvic Floor patients at Sarton PT in Tustin, both of which are lead by two incredibly talented individuals whom I feel blessed to work with. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the animal rescues in the area like Fix Long Beach and Live Love Animal Rescue helping injured and sometimes paralyzed animals get out of pain and have even been successful in restoring function and mobility when it was thought that there wasn’t any hope. I love working with people but our furry friends have a special place in my heart and any chance I get to help I do.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I think I pretty much had every road block that could possibly happen get in the way, and it definitely was not easy. When I got started I was working for someone else so I had no control over how things were run and that was a challenge. When I started out on my own it was terrifying. Not having a safety net and making a leap into entrepreneurship, I honestly felt like I was taking a flying leap off a cliff. I initially thought that I might take a little time off from working in the field but I got pulled right back in and felt like I was right where I was supposed to be.

I went back to school to study Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy to gain more knowledge to help people. I worked side jobs for many years including bar tending, serving, lighting installation and overnight security to make ends meet as well as fund my business goals. Every opportunity that presented itself for me to receive additional training I took it but it put quite a dent in my wallet having to travel so far to do so. Just when I was finally starting to make headway in my 3rd year of being solo…COVID happened and it all came to a grinding halt. I almost lost my business and if it weren’t for my parents stepping in to help I would have. I appreciate them believing in me enough to not let me go down because the world shut down. Having the ultimate blockade in my way I shifted and focused on what I could control.

Honestly, I got more done and made more connections in 2020 than I ever had and it set me up for an explosion in 2021. This year business took off and I’m working with some of the most incredible Doctors you could ever ask for. Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy, Author of “The Cancer Revolution” and Medical Director of the Center for New Medicine in Irvine, CA has been such a blessing to work with. Her knowledge and expertise are second to none. Dr. Julie Sarton of Sarton Pelvic Healing has taught me so much and I feel so honored to work with her patients. The incredible, kind hearted people I’ve met in the field like Heather Hiniker of Ascent Adaptation and Regeneration in Newport have become not only incredible business allies but irreplaceable friends. I truly believe that if you set your mind to something and you keep persisting you will succeed…especially if you’re doing things for the right reason. When you get a roadblock find a way around it and just keep going!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We specialize in alternative and holistic pain management and wellness. The device we work with uses the same electronic impulses as the nervous system, so it basically speaks the same language as the body. It intelligently changes its signaling every millisecond, guiding the body back to homeostasis or as close to it as your body allows. The main difference between this modality and others is that we aren’t just sending something “at” the body, but are having a conversation and negotiating with the body for the highest rate of change. Most people who have “tried everything” find relief with us.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I’d just like to say thank you for taking the time to read this. If you or anyone you know is dealing with any type of discomfort or pain I’d love to try and help, especially if you’ve already “tried everything.” The great part is that you’ll know whether it works for you pretty quick, usually within the first couple of sessions. I stand by my work and will do my absolute best to help you. Sessions are comfortable and pretty relaxing for the most part. Just keep in mind that if you have a pacemaker or if you’re pregnant unfortunately we can’t work on you.
