Conversations with the Inspiring Blanca Angelica Ruiz-Schafer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Blanca Angelica Ruiz-Schafer.

Blanca Angelica, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I began my journey of personal development when I was 13. My dad gave me two things: “Awaken The Giant Within” by Tony Robbins & “The Awakened Life” cassette tape by Dr. Wayne Dyer. Mindset + Spiritual development gave me the tools I needed to navigate the rest of my school years. Thanks to this, I always knew that life was more than working for 40 hours a week for the next 40 years. I knew that we all deserved to live the life we’ve imagined which meant taking ownership of our actions. I was 28 when I took all this knowledge and poured it into my business. It takes self-discipline to reach our goals. May they be relationship goals, health, and business. I am blessed to have aligned myself with a brand that embodies all of this. I have now built a business that allows me to help people with their health, wealth or both.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’ve had and continue to have setbacks in my journey. Isn’t that what it’s all about though? I’ve seen many peaks and valleys in my business. I’ve worked for a personal goal only to not meet it. I’ve experienced people trying to sabotage what I’ve built. I’ve driven hours to help people reach their goals only to be ghosted by them when they decided they didn’t want to move forward. This used to hurt my feelings and take me out of my game before-not anymore. I still feel a bit of sadness but I refuse to let it slow me down.

Challenges are what gives us the growth spurts we need to be better than we used to be. It’s how we learn. We either become victims or better leaders. That’s the beauty of it, we get to decide. Find at least three things that bring your energy level up. Is it music? Dancing? Maybe taking a nap? Next time you feel frustrated-stop what you are doing and bring yourself back to what makes you joyful. Self-care is so important. Success is inevitable when you don’t give up on your dream. It may take some time, but quitting won’t get you there.

What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I show people the benefits of creating a residual income asset alongside their current projects (wealth) while switching their personal care brand to one that is safe for them (health) and our planet. I aligned myself with Arbonne International because they are aligned with my core values. I love to remind people of their greatness. I love to coach on nutrition. As a matter of fact, I just became a certified holistic health coach with The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Arbonne embodies all of this.

Do you have a lesson or advice you’d like to share with young women just starting out?
My advice is to start with the end in mind. Visualize what you want your story to look like. Where do you see yourself living? Who are you surrounded by? What does your income look like? Truly visualize yourself being where you want to be and then start acting as if you are there. You know the way little girls put on their mom’s heels and walk around with so much confidence? Yes, they fall and yes, they get bruised but they sure know how to OWN IT. Your success exists in a different timeline. Live fully in the RIGHT NOW knowing what you will create. Daily gratitude is everything. Pour love and personal development into yourself daily. Your focus is NOT to be better than anyone else. Your focus is to be better than YOU used to be.
