Conversations with the Inspiring Mary Lebhar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Lebhar.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Mary. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It all started when I had to do a high school project about any career and I choose Cosmetology… and quite frankly, ever since then, I’ve always loved the beauty world… I’ve always worked part-time doing nails and other jobs too but nails were my go to and my happy place… it’s where I can express myself and shine doing what I do best. I meet all types of people and share and grow with my clients… it’s a connection I build with them and they trust me… and that makes me LOVE what I do.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road for sure, people in the industry will tell you they will teach you their tips and tricks but they really don’t mean it and won’t take time out to help you. It’s a tough industry because people get so competitive. One day, one wise co-worker who was Always BOOKED whispers to me and said “ don’t sit and wait for anyone to teach you… teach yourself and practice until you get good, trust me “ and ever since then I practiced everything myself and got better at my craft. My advice to the young ladies out there is don’t give up… practice really does help and make you better… believe I’m the process… and believe I’m yourself… it pays off in the end.

What should we know about Le’Mare’s Nail Studio? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I do nails… I specialize in acrylics and doing nail designs for my clients. What makes me proud of what I do is that I listen to my clients built a relationship with them give them the service that they want and make sure I follow up and stay on top of everything by giving them the best quality. I think what sets me apart from others is that I treat my clients more than just clients I treat them as if they’re my friends… I mean I see them every Two weeks, I listen to their stories they listen to mine and you get to know them on a deeper level so it’s more than just me providing them with nail services… and I try to understand them as much as I can

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
I believe that my childhood did shape me into the person that I am today because I grew up in a big family with not a lot financially. My parents have always taught us to learn to fend for ourselves and work hard to get where we need to be. My parents have also always taught me to treat people with respect and kindness and treat them how I want to be treated… and always be the bigger person, and I feel like that has got me through a lot in life and where I am now.
