Conversations with Bianca and Michael Middleton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca and Michael Middleton.

Hi Bianca and Michael, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in the southeast as siblings, we volunteered a lot in our community, and it had an ever-lasting effect on us. We truly love where we came from and how it has impacted us to want to promote them in our podcast. Being raised in the SE, it feels like a lack of resources. When it comes to the news, it always feels like bad news. So we want to bring awareness to things going on and strategies to implement to make it better.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road has been smooth for the most part being a self-started podcast. We are honestly growing every season, and the struggles we face are more stepping stones that add to us. Having a podcast and balancing regular everyday life has been a bit challenging but worth the work.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We feel like local businesses and Mom and Pop shops were not getting the recognition that the City was getting so we wanted to show support by shouting out businesses in our city to promote investing in your own community. Our second season we wanted to elevate the podcast by having local businesses come by and be interviewed and get to know the person behind the business. Since starting the podcast we have connected with many people and have inspired many to support local businesses more. We also tap into our inner child by incorporating cereal reviews to make it family friendly as growing up everyone would eat Cereal which was one of the inspirations to the podcast. Michael is currently a new father and husband, so his focus currently is on a family. Bianca is currently studying astrology so she can implement different healing techniques for humans to incorporate unconscious behaviors.

How do you define success?
Success is getting to do something that you enjoy at the same time making an impact on your community. We hope to do even more with the community by doing volunteer work and possibly hosting events that will promote the city and spread into more regions in California and even other states. Success is being fulfilled! Emotionally mentally, physically and spiritually!
