Today we’d like to introduce you to Omar Armas.
Hi Omar, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Started in college, did not know what to mayor in. Decided to quit school, started working in a restaurant as a dishwasher, got promoted to head chef in two years. Went to culinary school in Florence, Italy and the rest is history.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not, culture shocks, such as China, Brazil, Spain and New York. Having no money, almost working just to pay rent or for free for that matter, just eagering to learn.

I am chef and I make beer. I specialize and bringing the best attention to my clients, serving the freshest ingredients in my tacos.
I’m my beer. I try to make them as sutil a refreshing as possible.
Just made a 70% blonde ale co-fermentation with 30% Sauvignon Blanc. It’s called La Señora Lechera.
