Exploring Life & Business with Mandy Ferdman of Human Unveiled

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mandy Ferdman.

Hi Mandy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My fascination with human behavior and metaphysics began as a child. I witnessed my paranoid schizophrenic grandfather do strange and interesting things that I never saw others do. I was intrigued as to how he was so blatantly different and curious as to what would contribute to such a thing.

Around that same time, at the age of 9, my father taught me how to meditate. It helped me navigate so much as a child and I latched onto it as an incredible tool that made me feel AMAZING. Meditation gave me a deep sense of compassion and connection to others, even when I went through periods of being bullied in my pre-teens.

In college, my relentless curiosity led me to become a research assistant on two Mindfulness meditation studies and a BA degree in psychology from UCLA. It was in my undergrad that I became obsessed with learning about the overlap of where science meets metaphysics, something that still drives my life today.

After college, I immersed myself in spiritual growth. After years of dedication to this path, I had a seemingly “spontaneous” event happen where I felt a strong stream of energy flowing through my right hand. It happened while I was at a friend’s house during a plant medicine ceremony with about 30 other people. This energy began connecting to people and when it did, I could feel things that they were feeling and I knew things about them that I couldn’t possibly have known. Then, the energy would proceed to heal them through energetic adjustments. This went on for several hours and I worked on at least ten people. It was profound.

Human Unveiled was born two years later as a byproduct of personal experiences in the ethereal world of metaphysics and the hundreds of research papers that have been published about meditation, energy healing, intuition, and quantum interactions.

Currently, I am a graduate and post-grad student of Luminous Awareness Institute, I’ve been initiated to higher levels of energy access through Ascension One Collective, and I work with several energy practitioners on a monthly basis to continue to deepen my own growth.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I first started meditating, I was nine years old. That was in 1995 and the word meditation was a foreign concept to most at that time, especially for children. So I never told anyone about it. It was a weird and strange concept, yet I knew how incredible I felt after meditating, so kept I going. But for so many years, it felt like a big part of my life was a secret.

The topics of energy adjustments, intuition, and energy healing are other hard-to-believe subjects. So many people roll their eyes or dismiss these as being legitimate things without ever having experienced an energy session or an understanding of why these things work. This is a huge reason why I am filling my course with so much science-based evidence of how energy works on a quantum level so that people can grasp it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Human Unveiled. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Human Unveiled offers Personalized Energy Sessions and soon, a digital course.

For sessions, I work with clients in their homes or remotely. I do energy work that supports them on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level of growth and healing. It is not Reiki or any particular modality. It is simply a process of connecting to their energy field and allowing information to come through. Sometimes that comes to me in the form of visions, messages, and/or unique hand movements, but most of the time it is the intelligence of their bodies that does all the work and I help guide that process. Resolving emotional pain, discomforts, or traumas are very common, even from a single session. Having more clarity, creativity, openness, and groundedness are regular side effects. It is the ultimate biohack in my opinion that optimizes every part of an individual on a foundational level.

The digital course I’m working on is called How To Change The World Through Parenting. This course was not my idea. An ayahuasca ceremony in Colombia this past year is what gave it to me. And unbeknownst to me, it is becoming a vital aspect of my life’s work.

This course is about a fundamental understanding of human development and how parenting impacts the development of morality. Therefore, the world we will have in the future is based on today’s parenting. As a mother to a toddler, this course is deeply meaningful to me on several levels. It is FILLED with scientific evidence to support what ayahuasca showed me because…well, I couldn’t do it any other way.

The course is still in the creation process with a goal to launch in Spring 2022. The cost for this incredibly comprehensive course will be $33. Yup, just $33…because that’s what ayahuasca told me to charge. I very much view it as an act of service that I hope will impact many.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
San Diego is just a dreamy place to live all around. I spend most of my time in Encinitas, Carlsbad, and Oceanside. The people here are so friendly, innately joyful, and caring. It’s easy to do that when you can see the beach every day on a short drive to the market, local coffee shop, or going to a park with my son. I love that everyone is so physically active in nature and that people prioritize a healthy lifestyle. It’s such a pleasant place to raise a child.

My only complaint about San Diego is its lack of diversity. I’m from LA and I lived in NYC. I miss hearing ten different languages walking down the street or finding food from every ethnic background available.

  • $250/session
  • $1000/pack of 5
  • $33 – course (coming soon)
