Exploring Life and Business with Marija Peshevska of Instant Assistance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marija Peshevska.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my real estate career in 2017 in San Francisco, after a year I decided to move to San Diego and pursue my dream. I found San Diego to be more family-oriented and I loved the warm weather. My goal was to build a career in real estate, since I loved the idea of helping people to buy or sell their house and help them move to the next chapter in their life. When starting to work as real estate agent everyone is telling you start with your sphere of influence, people that you know, acquiescence as that’s how you will lend your first client. I would say that I’m a friendly and talkative person but as I was a new agent starting my business in a new city. I didn’t know anyone, so I had to start from zero. That included new friends, building relationships. I would describe the process as fun but also a bit challenging. Today, three later, I’m a successful real estate agent with husband, 10months old baby and running an additional business for virtual assistance services.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
In my opinion, there is no smooth road to success, at least there wasn’t for me. In the beginning, I had to work 70h per week in order to get where I wanted to be.

There were a lot of downturns and unpredictable events. Being a real estate agent sounds like a very cool profession, right? However, it does come with a lot of challenges along the way! Starting from finding clients, or an inspection going wrong, deals following apart working with no income for months. The virtual assistance business comes with its own challenges as well. Building the company, training people, finding the right talents for the job position, working with the client in determining their needs, etc

We’ve been impressed with Instant Assistance, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our company provides virtual assistant services to entrepreneurs who are in need of:
– Administrative Support ( organizing documents, data entry and follow up emails and schedules, making appointments and arrangments)
– Marketing Support (creating marketing strategies, handling social media accounts, e-blasts and campaigns, marketing analysis)
– Sales Support (making sales phone calls, incorporated follow up system)

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
That would be hard to answer since we live in the Finest City! The only thing that would help us live a better life is taking care of the homeless people in the Downtown area.
