Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Cohen.
Hi Tony, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a serial entrepreneur and a master military Krav Maga instructor for over 30 years, built, sold and failed too with start-ups over the decades.
I don’t instruct much Krav Maga these days. Over 6 years ago, I was living in NYC, not in a good place mentally or physically, when I was approached by a former marine friend who lived here, about ketogenic therapies Navy SEAL divers were using for brain health, they weren’t available to the general public, however, I was invited to be part of the initial prototype team.
Between us, we became the driving force behind the global Keto movement, he’s since retired, and I’m more heavily immersed in it than ever, making a huge impact on the planet.
This is my passion, the pursuit of better, mentally, physically, emotionally and even spiritually.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Wild rollercoaster trip. There have been many days I’ve felt like quitting, some days I did, some days I didn’t. Lost a load of friends and family along the way.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Flow Warriors?
Research, development and marketing of ketogenic therapies, I’m most proud of members of my community, who have literally turned their lives around. I’m either known as the go-to guy in San Diego for all things Keto, or the only military Krav Maga instructor in town.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Community and collaboration is true currency.
