Hidden Gems: Meet Angela Cooper of InnerG Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Cooper.  

Angela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started InnerG Consulting LLC in 2005 doing new construction Interior Design, later adding residential Interior Design to my portfolio. As the years passed and my private interior design clientele increased, I began receiving requests for Event Planning services from my clients and made the decision to extend my business services to include Event Management. Over the course of the past 10 years, I have received multiple international accreditations and continued education in Interior Design and Event Management. I have since broadened my expertise in Event Management to include social events and weddings at corporate planning. I am trained in event design and styling, event and hospitality management, music, and large outdoor festivals. I have received numerous industry awards and have numerous active industry awards. I took a leap of faith and retired early from Corporate America on August 10, 2017, to focus solely on entrepreneurship and my business. I truly enjoy my decision to leap and soar in my industry. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Along the path, it has not been smooth; however, I want to admit that I was getting in my own way. I knew the direction I wanted to go, but there were some obstacles along the way. And there still are, but I have learned how to pivot and shift along the way. Some of those struggles include learning how to effectively value and price my services, building a strong team and eventually weeding out the clientele that was not serving my business model, and learning how to market and win over my dream clients.

InnerG Consulting is a full-service Event Management and Interior Design Management firm that focuses on form, function, and the natural senses to execute the client’s vision. 

We are internationally certified in interior design, wedding planning/design, event planning/design, color consulting, floral design, and hospitality management. Our goal is to learn our clients and provide services that soar above and beyond expectations. 

Our company mission is based on the belief that your inner space should reflect a design concept that responds to the basic human senses, creating a peaceful and tranquil energy that is a reflection of you. As a result, you will receive design elements that incorporate all of the natural senses, transforming the inner you into your reality. 

We provide design and management services for residential, commercial, new construction, and remodels. 

Our services also extend to full planning event management, and design. Whether your function is for a non for profit, corporate, private, or other social event, we will execute a memorable occasion that reflects your style and taste-making each event truly unique. 

InnerG Consulting also specializes in c personal concierge services, including retail and wholesale purchasing. We are experienced, creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
