Today we’d like to introduce you to Rose Salo. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Rose Salo is a fully licensed and board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in San Diego. She specializes in aesthetic and wellness medicine, with an emphasis in cosmetic dermatology. Prior to starting San Diego IV, Rose was the clinic director for a prominent medical spa for two years, where she was the lead clinician for Botox, dermal fillers, laser procedures, hormone replacement therapy, and IV therapy.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Rose knew that house calls are the safest, most convenient way for her clients to continue to maintain their aesthetic wellness goals. Shortly thereafter, San Diego IV transformed from a promising vision into an amazing reality. Rose and her nurses now offer studio appointments and home visits for IV therapy and med spa services!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were so many things to learn being a mobile business — from anticipating which supplies needed to be packed (and how!) to the challenges of scheduling patients in a geographically efficient manner. I was also much busier than I had originally anticipated right off the bat. This meant that I needed to mature my business strategies to make sure my clients were receiving the best care possible.

How do you think about happiness?
Discovering my purpose for the people in my life (both personal and professional) and living each day toward that purpose makes me happy! I am a firm believer that I serve a purpose for everyone that I meet — and vice versa. I hope to impart something positive in a particular moment/day/month/year/life for those around me. This mindset provides never-ending fulfillment every day!
