Inspiring Conversations with Jaeleah Guida of The Lifestyle Society Body Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaeleah Guida.

Hi Jaeleah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story with Body Contouring or Body Sculpting as it’s also known as started as a personal one. Like a lot of women out there, we have insecurities about our bodies, areas that we think we need improvement, and after having two kids, I was really looking for something to help me that didn’t involve surgery. Little by little, I learned about body contouring and all the parts of the body it could help you improve. I got into it and started getting treatments done. While I encountered many wonderful people that I loved to communicate with and some that I really looked up to, I always felt like I could do something more to better my results. I didn’t think it was body contouring itself just yet. I just didn’t know what it was.

Then literally one day, after this whole pandemic was brought upon us, it was literally like a lightbulb went off. Wait a minute! Who can be a body contouring specialist? Like what do I have to do, to do that myself? I was already super interested in it, was amazed that there was something out there that could help women feel better about themselves without surgery, and it was literally like my ah-ha! Moment. From that moment on, I immersed myself in that world, studied science the machines, learned from different people. I got six different certificates because I felt like there was just so much to learn out there in regards to technique, body types, outcomes, etc. I practiced on myself and family and friends for months before I finally was like- yes, I’m ready, let’s do this!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say the road to getting started is pretty easy. There are tons of classes in person and online that can teach you about different modalities, techniques, machines, etc., but that is only half the journey to getting started. Once you know what to do and you’ve seen it, you need to try it. You need to practice it. I would recommend to anyone that is interested in getting into the body contouring field, do it, but know what each machine does, what each piece feels like, sounds like and what it does. Learn, learn, learn. Also, you have to be comfortable talking to people and not be afraid to network and put yourself out there. People have to know about you to book with you- that is a very important part.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Lifestyle Society Body Aesthetics. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
The Lifestyle Society is the origin of my brand. I created that brand a long time ago. In 2021, it became the brand for my Body Aesthetics company. I love it because it is all about creating a lifestyle for people where they feel better, eat better, look better, and it’s all about support and being a positive force. Body Contouring is such an innovative way for men and women to take control of their bodies and feel better about themselves without invasive surgery.

There is so much out there we can treat. I help women who are moms and have very little self-care time get rid of stubborn stretch marks and tighten loose skin. I help men get back into shape after job changes get them off their feet and into a chair for most of the day. I help people love their bodies again, love their face, love their skin and most importantly, feel better!

Everyday, I get to do something that I love, that benefits me on a personal level, benefits my family and provides for them, and helps women and men all over San Diego. It is the greatest feeling when a client messages me and is shopping and just amazed at the difference in their body, or when they are just at home and realizes they have been eating better and feel lighter and more energized.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by getting a client to their goals. With Body Contouring, it’s really one service you are providing, but you have a dozen different ways to get that done. Success is finding out what the client wants to change, what their goals are, and then doing what it takes to get them there and prepare them to have the best results even after they leave me.
