Inspiring Conversations with Jennifer Praizler of Lucidity Healing Arts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Praizler.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Life is short! So living every day to fullest is the best way to live! The cool salty air, the deep blueness of the ocean, the Palm trees, the opportunity for greater education, the multicultural food, and the geological diversity of San Diego are just some of the reasons I love living here. Being a nurse for over 11 years has given me the flexibility and opportunity to explore my purpose in life. At a young age, I had a calling to help alleviate the suffering of others. From a hug to a compassionate caring conversation, to empowering someone, to providing a warm blanket in a cold hospital room (tucking the patient in so that their feet, back, and sides are toasty warm), became an important part of my daily practice. Taking care of patients in a hospital setting opened my eyes to the limitations that conventional medicine has to offer. Searching for alternative healing modalities that probed the cause of disease and suffering, I began studying Buddhism, meditation, mindfulness, breath-work, Reiki, yoga, energy balancing, and nutrition. By blending medical science and holistic practices, we have the innate ability to heal ourselves and just need the tools to do so. Recently I have started my own business, Lucidity Healing Arts. I am passionately pursuing alternative healing modalities with my background of conventional medicine to get to the root of physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering. I offer sessions that include: Reiki, energy balancing, crystal sound bowel healings, one on one instruction on how to meditate and be mindful, and introduction to the Emotional Freedom Technique. Living in San Diego has provided opportunities for educational growth, connecting with community, and a chance impact every life I come into contact with.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think one of the most difficult struggles I have experienced is starting completely over in a new town. Not having any friends or family to surround yourself with can be a test of strength.

We’ve been impressed with Lucidity Healing Arts, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I understand how beneficial the incorporation of alternative and energy medicine can be for good health. Taking care of patients in a hospital setting opened my eye to the limitations of conventional medicine, which only treated the chief complaint. My search for alternative healing modalities led me practicing meditation, mindfulness, and yoga for the past 6 years. I am now a certified Reiki practitioner and offer a comprehensive 60-90 minute healing session. Each session consists of Reiki, energy balancing, sound bowel healing, and introduction to meditation, mindfulness, and Emotional Freedom Technique. I am able to help clear past traumas and emotional blockages that are affecting the person’s ability to live healthy and happy. I am committed to creating a safe space for others to explore the deepest layers of who they are so that healing can begin promoting a less stressful more joyful life.

What matters most to you?
The work I do matters because making meaningful connections and helping direct each person into making lasting positive changes in their life is so rewarding. Helping each person unlock the power within to grow, cultivate unconditional self-love, and supporting them along the journey is something I strive to do.
