Inspiring Conversations with Jimmy Page of Inseev Interactive

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jimmy Page.

Hi Jimmy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Before I started Inseev Interactive, I was an SEO Manager at Provide Commerce. This was an eCommerce company that has since closed its doors. At the time, we were spending tons of money with SEO vendors to support our goals. I was also consulting on the side and using those same vendors for those projects. I was unhappy with the vendors we were using for both my consulting and my full-time job.

I decided to try and convince Provide Commerce to build an in-house white-hat link building team to replace the outsourced vendors. This was the lightbulb moment where I realized that there was a market need for qualified white-hat link building services. I felt strongly that I could satisfy this market need and hired someone on Craigslist to execute on the work with my guidance. All of this happened five months before I quit my full-time job. Once I quit, I was able to start scaling the business.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Running an SEO agency at the enterprise level is a deep challenge. Maintaining extremely high standards and operational capability as we scale has been the greatest career challenge that most of our leadership has ever experienced. Thousands of collective long days, stressful times to mix with the fun ones, and incredible dedication to being the best throughout all of it.

Because of our unbelievable people, we have enjoyed eight straight years of very consistent and sizable growth and had never experienced a real existential scare until Covid in 2020. Many of our clients went into a panic and froze budgets. Others shut their doors and expected the worst. We were forced to lay off some tremendous people and navigate through an unprecedented situation for all of us. The team rose to the occasion in a monumental way and we began digging out of the revenue trench almost immediately, essentially regaining our full strength and trajectory by the end of 2020. That period was our most trying and the way we came through inspired a lot of pride.

Beyond that incident, some of our greatest challenges broadly have been recruiting enough talent to stay ahead of our growth trajectory and maintaining SEO standards when there are so many different paths to how people have learned SEO. We have an incredible training program now and full-time recruiting and feel like we’ve really turned the corner on some of the biggest problems that agencies like ours face.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
