Inspiring Conversations with Luisa Ayala

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luisa Ayala.

Hi Luisa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was inspired by a colleague of mine who’s been in the business for many years. She encouraged me to get my real estate license and allowed me to work for her and learn everything I know now. Working with other top agents in the industry has truly been an inspiration and a learning experience. Four years ago, my now business partner and friend, Cassandra Altmann, started our own team, the Altmann I Ayala Realty Team.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t. With each transaction, there’s always a learning opportunity. We learn from our mistakes, but our ultimate goal is to make sure our clients are happy at the end of the day. A lot happens behind the scenes, but we try to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible. It is an emotional transaction. My favorite part of it is that I am always learning something new.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Our women-led team provides comprehensive real estate service and support for both buyers and sellers. As full-time REALTOR®s, we are committed to upholding the fiduciary standard for each of our clients and empowering them to make the best real estate decisions possible.

Another passion of mine is giving back to the community. Currently serving as the Immediate Past President for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals where we educate others in the industry and give back to the Hispanic Community in San Diego. I also have the honor to serve as the Marketing Chair for Voices for Children, an amazing organization that helps children in the foster care system.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
God first. Our past clients who have trusted us with such an important milestone in their lives. My husband Jimmy, and two kids, Amelie and Ezekiel. Cassandra Altmann, who is my other half. Michelle Dykstra, Susana Corrigan, and Patty Cohen. The rest of my family who has always been there to support me and last but not least, my closest friends who I consider family. Thank you for believing in me and being such a blessing in my life.
