Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am the founder and sole operator of Peaches and Cream Bath & Body Sweets. I have always had a passion for skincare. As a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician for over eight years, I decided to create a line of ethically sourced products that are fun and safe to use. All of my products contain fair trade and cruelty-free ingredients without any compromise. I use raw and unrefined ingredients to bring you the most pure and nourishing products. No sulfates, parabens, SLS, or harmful detergents.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I first started this company, I was temporarily out of work for the unforeseeable future due to the pandemic. Like many, I decided to try my hand as a small business owner without any real idea of what I was doing. I started formulating and creating products while realizing I had no clue on managing a business or how to create a plan. It has been a huge learning experience for me and I’m so thankful for all of the love and support of our customers as we continue to grow.

I make decadent-inspired bath and body products. I specialize in bath bombs, bath soaks, body scrubs, whipped soaps, body butters and shower steamers. I use the most gentle ingredients and hydrating oils to create luxurious experiences. My bath bombs are made with coconut cleansers and avocado oil for soft skin while hidden colors and scrumptious scents envelop you. My body butters are made with raw shea butter and plant extracts to deeply replenish even the most sensitive skin. My shower steamers are made with pure essential oils and menthol crystals to create an aromatherapy experience in a pinch. I am quite proud of my packaging. Sustainability is very important to me which is why all of our packaging is biodegradable or recycled PET plastic. I do not use any harmful detergents or unethical ingredients like palm oil or natural mica.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I absolutely love the San Diego Zoo. I find it to be such an important organization that works towards sustainable conservation solutions while saving endangered species worldwide. I cannot think of one thing that I do not love about this beautiful city.
