Hi Tory, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My family has been in business for over 35 years. After working our boutique for several years, I decided to take a piece of the business and make it my own. I re-branded and founded Parravi Jewelry a little over two years ago.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Having your own business and working for yourself is never easy. Hanging in there during Covid and the shutdowns made things uncertain and how the future of retail may look. We built a website and spent more time on improving our social media accounts, so we could create a bigger online presence. Being a former professional athlete, I always love to crush my goals. I work very hard and enjoy seeing the upward results each month. The rewards you can see coming are certainly worth the ups and downs. I wouldn’t trade being my own boss for anything.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are known for our unique taste and exquisite selections in designer jewelry. We handpick our collections and curate a style that suits each person individually. We take pride in knowing our clients won’t see a double of themselves walking along the street. We spend a lot of time making sure each client feels confident and leaves our boutique with a one of a kind look. We offer private appointments in store and virtually. Once we get to know a client and they trust us with their fashion needs, it’s a done deal, and they’re addicted! We love this feeling and strive to make every client feel they can come to us for anything from jewelry, clothing, hats, handbags, belts, etc… We’ve got it all.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I would love to be a well-known brand online and not just a trendy boutique/jewelry store on Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach. I love my loyal clients but could always use more from all over!
