Life and Work with Ariella Prado

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariella Prado.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ariella. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I really started my makeup journey in Highschool, I’ve always dabbled with makeup a tiny bit in middle school I wasn’t allowed to because my parents didn’t let me but I’d steal my mother’s eyeliner so I could play with it, so I probably first played with eyeliner in 6th grade!

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s never really been a smooth road in my household because of my father, My dad is a very traditional strict Mexican man &’he worries way too much about what others think, so for a very long time he would try to get me to stop wearing my makeup looks out & he would also constantly tell me how hideous I looked because of my looks, my advice for other women and men just does you no matter what people say, do what makes you feel confident and beautiful, life’s to short to worry about what other people think, step out of the box try something big and bold & don’t hold back.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with your business – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I’m a freelance makeup artist and I specialize in graphic liner! I’m known for my colorful and graphic looks! I’m the most proud of how far I’ve gotten as an artist I never imagined being where I’m at today! & what sets me apart from others is my interesting artistry.

Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
My childhood definitely did play a huge part, honestly, my childhood wasn’t the greatest I was bullied from elementary to high school, before makeup I wanted to become a tattoo artist I wanted to become a geometric and portrait artist!

Drawing was extremely therapeutic to me and was my escape, it was my only outlet for a very long time as a child I would sit for hours of the day either drawing portraits or work on my line work! As time went by I picked up eyeliner and started crazy thick wings on my eyes and in time it slowly started to move all over my face.
