Life and Work with Brianna Vaughn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Vaughn.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Hi, I’m 24 and have been living in San Diego now for a little under 2 years, I graduated high school in 2012 in my home state of NJ. Then, after high school, I did what everyone else was doing, I went to college. Ever since I graduated from community college with an associates degree in health sciences, everyone was so stern on me finishing and getting a Bachelors degree, and while I believe that everyone should have a degree, it should be in something you are passionate about. I’ve never been more passionate about working out, and I could never imagine myself doing an office job for the rest of my life or something I hated!

I started working out about 6 years ago (thanks to my boyfriend, now, husband), but only have gotten more serious with it the past two years. I fell in love with it! I never put two and two together that I can spend my life doing what I love and having a career.

I’ve just started to build my Instagram a couple of months ago, I enjoy posting pictures and workout videos because I want to help people get healthy and help them workout with confidence. I’m currently studying to be a NASM certified personal trainer, and I’m going to start school again in the fall to get a bachelors degree in nutrition. 🙂

Has it been a smooth road?
Working out has been something that I’ve always enjoyed, some people hate it, but to me it’s my hobby and stress reliever. There have been times where I feel like I’m not seeing the results I want, or have no motivation to keep going, but I always remember why I started working out, to begin with. First; to keep my overall health in check. So many people in the world suffer from chronic diseases that can be avoided by proper exercise and nutrition. Second; I want to feel confident in the body I’m given. Let’s face it, we all LOVE feeling sexy and working out makes me feel sexy. It’s not an easy thing to begin if you’ve never had an interest in fitness, but if your interested in starting a fitness journey I advise women to do research, find out what works for your body and what doesn’t. Youtube is a great platform with great information from professionals who know what they’re doing.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with bodiesbybri – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
In a couple months, I will be a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. For right now, I have an Instagram platform that I post daily on, bodiesbybri. I post inspirational and encouraging posts, nutrition facts, and workout videos. I love to inspire and motivate people to work out, and to gain the confidence they should have had all along, a confidence they deserve to have. Women are so quick to tear each other down, and I believe in women coming together and supporting other women.
