Today we’d like to introduce you to Fati Marie.
Fati, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I always knew I wanted to help people, I always knew I had a gift of guiding people on how to look at things differently, I just never expected it to be this. It started when I use to have my very first business in fashion, I was working at a high-end boutique and needed extra cash so I started cleaning out closets on the side. It ended up being a pretty strong business and I found myself spending hours in closets with these amazing women; hearing their stories, listening to their perspective and just being an ear for all these emotions. After years of working in fashion and grinding my way up the ladder in Los Angeles, I found myself at the top still not quite satisfied, knowing I wasn’t doing what I came here to do. After a long journey, making many leaps of faith and deciding to start working with people as a health coach, a bomb went off. I lost my mother to cancer. That story is another one all in its own but needless to say, it changed my life forever. I had already lost my sister and stepdad, I had never thought that losing my mom could hurt even more than pain I had already felt. After this, happened, I left corporate life indefinitely and focused my life into helping people find the light and beauty in life. I started my own company called EASY Organics but that eventually turned my life around, leading me to my partner and new life in Encinitas. With all of these major life changes, deep sorrows, huge loves and leaps of change, people started calling me and asking me advice on how to get through their own struggles. Like that, my coaching career manifested and has meaning. The ease I feel listening to people, using my own experience and intuition to guide them has landed me in a spot where I now coach at Four Moons Spa in Leucadia, hold classes and gatherings and meet amazing women every day!
Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not! My journey has not been linear by any means! Some of the biggest struggles were when I wasn’t understanding my own feelings. I knew when I was happy, enjoying the moment and living in alignment, that was easy to figure out! But the hard part is when I wasn’t feeling good about what was happening. I didn’t know how to decipher what that “bad feeling” meant. Most recently, when I went from ending EASY to transition into coaching, the feelings of not wanting to work anymore on EASY made me feel awful. I had no motivation or passion to put anything else into it but instead of embracing that I was embarking on something new, I felt like I was failing or giving up and almost made me question my work ethic. Looking back, I laugh that I questioned myself so much. Those “bad” feelings, times of resistance and humps in the road have helped me course correct into what I am meant to do right here and right now. So now, for anyone starting, listen to those moments, embrace the bumps and see how they are benefiting you! It’s meant to spark change!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Fati Marie Coaching – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am a Life Coach, Personal Growth Guide, and Personal Cheerleader! I like to work with people who are going through times in their life where they feel a little “stuck” and help them guide them across that bridge. I love diving into the deep parts of our spirit that we tend to forget and just simply ask,”why?”. I believe asking questions brings clarity. I’m most proud of helping my clients gain a new perspective in their lives and to show them how much they are full of love, light, and compassion. I also am known for my to-do lists and organization skills! Owning my own business and running others, the accountability card runs hard with me and set up your calendar is the key to success. Every day makes the difference, just watch, wait and see! I work one-on-one and I have designed courses that I teach at Four Moons Spa- Get Organized! on Mondays at 3 pm and the Self Care Clinic on Fridays at 11 am.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Follow your impulses. They aren’t impulses. It is your life talking to you, telling you where to go and how much fun it will be getting there.
