Meet Julez Bryant

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julez Bryant.

Hi Julez, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my creative journey in 2003 in Carlsbad, California. My ambition and creative drive was redirected from a steady corporate environment when a dear friend gave me a small charm, later losing his life to cancer – a condition I personally have been faced with. He inspired me to live in the moment and focus my energy on my dreams rather than my fears. My creativity took flight when I converted that precious charm into my first jewelry design. The Julez Bryant brand has grown organically from those modest beginnings into the recognizable and established fine jewelry brand it is today.

Julez Bryant was built on the foundation that women should feel empowered and sexy in the jewelry they choose to adorn themselves in. Eighteen years later, our skilled and seasoned team continues to hand-forge each piece in our design studio in our coastal studio in Southern California. Our pieces are the perfect marriage of rough and refined, fierce and feminine. Using responsibly sourced 14k and 18k yellow, rose and white gold with full-cut diamonds and semi-precious stones – A bit of luxe for every day.

In 2020, during the early months of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, I stayed focused on the opening of our flagship store, Gallery by Julez Bryant in Solana Beach, CA. This marked a great milestone as it has been a dream for years. I pride myself on being female-operated and owned, representing and amplifying strong female designers under the Julez Bryant wheelhouse.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve learned that life is a series of skinned knees and healing. And with each bump something even better is around the corner. At Julez Bryant we try not to base our decisions on what others are doing but rather base our decisions and future on the values we deeply believe in. So every decision is based on our corporate values first before anything. This has been the best beacon for me through this growth path that our brand is facing and for the future.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I focus my energy on the design and business development side and am proud to be the keeper of the culture. I have a wonderful team of skilled artisans and accomplished professionals who help me keep the Julez Bryant wheelhouse reaching far beyond what I could have ever imagined.

Alright, so before we go, can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We love to partner with San Diego locals and businesses and have plans to extend out wider with our reach in the future. From our honest and authentic brand ambassadors to sustainable businesses in fashion, hospitality and the arts. We look forward to what’s to come now that things are opening back up for our world!
