Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryann Arsenault.
Ryann, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been training dogs for a little over three years now, and I’ve trained at multiple retail store training facilities. In the last couple of months, I decided to branch off and start my own training business called “Pawsibly Trained”. I specialize in the training of all kinds, all ages and all breeds. There’s always something your dogs can learn, and I’m here to teach it!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road is still newly paved, but right now, it’s going smoothly. Building your own business from the ground up is always going to be hard, but I love the client support that I have around me and all the followers on social media that view and share my posts.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I train dogs of all kinds. I am an American Kennel Club Evaluator and can train and certify different titles such as Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine, and many others. I also teach and certify for trick titles and even teach a fun fitness class for dogs that specializes in giving our dogs a workout. I am most proud of all of the dogs I have worked with. I have seen tremendous progress and turn arounds from them all, and it is so heartwarming to watch them grow! I would say I’m different because I’m here to go at you and your dog’s pace; however fast or slow-moving that may be.
Can you talk about how you think about risk?
I think taking risks is always important. I don’t necessarily view myself as a risk-taker, but I know that in certain moments it’s the right choice. Branching off on my own was a huge risk for me, and I was nervous as to whether or not I would be able to rebuild my own clientele. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised, and without taking that risk, I wouldn’t be where I am today!
