Today we’d like to introduce you to Steak N Fries.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Steak N Fries was established in October 2017. Located at 1039 Garnet Avenue. Steak N Fries is open seven days week. Sunday to Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to midnight. Originally from North Philadelphia, Angela and Angel (owners) decided to bring a taste of home to San Diego. Angel had a career in business and Angela in counseling prior to relocating to San Diego. Angel and Angela relocated to San Diego with their daughters and son-in-law to build Steak N Fries.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been an exciting journey. The San Diego community has been extremely welcoming and supportive from the beginning.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At Steak N Fries we specialize in fresh rib-eye cheesesteaks. The rib-eye steak is sliced in-house daily, along with the cheeses and veggies. Each menu item is customizable; the customer is able to build their own cheesesteak. The customer selects from 6 cheeses (Cheez Whiz, American, Mozzarella, Provolone, Pepper Jack, Swiss) and fresh veggies (Onions, Bell Peppers, Mushrooms, Jalapeños, Cherry Peppers). All menu items are made to order and fresh.
We are family-owned and operated. The staff is made up of family members. We are grateful for the continuous support within the community and are most proud that we have created a space for families and friends to come together and enjoy each other’s company, all while enjoying cheesesteaks.
