Meet Alexis Jahangiri of San Diego Chiropractic Neurology

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Jahangiri.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
San Diego Chiropractic Neurology started as a mission in January 2016 to provide non-pharmaceutical and non-invasive solutions for people suffering from concussions, migraines, anxiety, and vertigo. I suffered from debilitating OCD and anxiety growing up and was only able to find relief through Functional Neurology, which has to lead me to where I am today. We started SDCN because there were a huge amount of people suffering in San Diego and we decided to make it our mission to share this amazing practice with as many people as we could. From there, with lots of hard work, community education, and fantastic patient results, we have been in business for over five years.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Like with any practice, there have been challenges along the way, but we’ve built an amazing team and community, making the speed bumps smaller and smaller over time.

We’ve been impressed with San Diego Chiropractic Neurology, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At SDCN we provide relief to those with concussions, migraines, vertigo, anxiety as well as other conditions. We are a specialty that aids in diagnosing and rehabilitating simple and complex neurological conditions without pharmaceuticals or surgery. Our integrative approach sets us apart from other offices as we look at the whole body and how the neurological, metabolic and structural systems may be contributing to what you are suffering from. We also do see standard orthopedic complaints such as disc herniations and general musculoskeletal injuries in our practice.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love San Diego for its weather, good food and community! We have some really fun climbing areas here as well that I love to frequent when I’m not at the office.
