Meet Amy Pearlmutter of Point Loma

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Pearlmutter.

Hi Amy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have loved fashion my entire life … I remember wearing my mom’s black fedora and an oversized 90210 shirt with bike shorts at my 10th birthday and really feeling myself. I went to college to be a teacher but soon realized after that I wanted to be in fashion. I started as a wholesale rep for 5 major European shoe brands for the entire West Coast. I did the sales, brand development and style buys for all the major department stores and online retailers as well as editorial styling packages. Styling has always just been like 2nd nature to me. I was always the girl that would help friends with their outfits or redecorate their rooms. Actually that is still me!! I love seeing a space and being able to freshen it up with the littlest details. I would say putting wardrobe looks together has been my favorite though. It’s so rewarding to empower women by encouraging them to stand beautiful in their style.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are always bumps in the road but for me it’s been really important to remember that it’s full wheels ahead from here!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Along with being a blogger and have created a lifestyle curator business that allows me to come in to multiple facets of your life and restyle it. Whether that’s wardrobe or home! I love it all
