Meet Andrea Davis of Andrea’s Truffles in Point Loma

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Davis.

Andrea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got started 7 years ago in October. I started making them out of my home. It suddenly turned into a full on a business of trufflin all over San Diego. Today, I continue to grow my business and have partnered with The Patio Group one of my longest clients.

Has it been a smooth road?
It was smooth sailing at first. There have been so many growing pains and they continue in spurts. With growth, I am constantly learning and becoming a better businesswoman.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Andrea’s Truffles – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Andrea’s is locally handcrafted artisan truffles ha. We specialize in truffles with unique flavor profiles including craft beer and craft spirit infusions. I am most proud of our recent rebranding and new website launch where people from all over can shop online. What sets Andrea’s apart is small batches, even as we continue to grow. We do not use molds for our truffles. We cut them, hand dip them and give them a unique cocoa butter painting finish. It is a different look and taste from most other truffles.

What has been the proudest moment of your career so far?
I would have to say, it is the recent Chocolate Table we provided for the Loews Resort in Coronado. It really took me out of my comfort zone and was amazing.
