Meet Anna Lee of Synchronistic Life in Mid Town

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Lee.

Anna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always been a planner at heart, taking the lead when organizing group activities for friends and family or planning my own international adventures. Being a “logistics queen” carried over into my career as I have been in the event planning industry for over a decade. In order to maintain a healthy work-life balance, I’ve always turned to travel. It allows me to experience new cultures, try new foods, meet new people, and live outside of my comfort zone. It became so important to me that I promised myself that I would collect a new stamp in my passport every year and I am so blessed to have traveled to 35 countries and counting!

My adventure travel turned into wellness travel as my yoga practice expanded by attending various retreats. Yoga was just exercise until I finally understood the true connection between mind, body, and soul after attending a retreat in Bali. This discovery led to a deeper connection after being introduced to meditation at the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh India. Since then, I’ve been on a quest to learn about all things wellness-related and understand different modalities of energy healing. I have always been a believer in natural medicine along with healthy eating and found my passion in the health and wellness space.

Eventually, I put all the pieces together: I am a logistics queen, who loves to travel, attend wellness retreats, understand the importance of connecting with myself, and most importantly connecting with others. Through various synchronicities and divine moments, I made a conscious decision to combine my career strengths with my soul’s passions and started Synchronistic Life: Consciously Curated Events & Retreats.

Has it been a smooth road?
The most important thing I’ve learned while starting my own business is when you trust the process and are inflow, that’s when all the magic happens. We live in such an instant gratification world where we want everything RIGHT NOW. For a while, I was so hung up on this idea of what my business needed to be and look like by a certain date. I quickly learned that it would naturally morph and change through trial and error. As long as I was focused on doing the things I love, my business fell into perfect place.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Synchronistic Life – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
At Synchronistic Life we have a passion for bringing people together. We support teachers, practitioners, corporate groups or individuals who are looking to host an event or retreat. All of our services: Event Design, Retreat Planning, and Program Management exist to make your life easier and stress-free. We take care of all the logistical planning so you can focus 100% on your program and attendees. We all know it’s hard to be the host and take care of all of the behind the scenes items. This is where Synchronistic Life comes in.

Retreats are definitely our specialty. Having attended numerous wellness retreats and working in the corporate event space, I know what you need for a successful experience. From venue selection, meal planning, program coordination, transportation, and local excursions, we plan every aspect of your customized retreat. These days, as a society, we are so “plugged in” that we end up disconnected from ourselves and each other. I truly believe that retreat experiences remind us how to be free, authentic, and present when cultivating meaningful connections.

When my clients tell me how enthusiastic they are about the outcome of their events and retreats I feel so fulfilled! I am proud to help each one of them and their guests on their unique journey to be the best and most authentic self.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love that San Diego has so much to offer in the wellness space. From amazing fitness instructors, energy healers, to my personal fave: healthy eats at our local farmer’s markets! We are so lucky to be able to get fresh, seasonal produce year-round and support our local farmers and artisan tastemakers.
