Meet Anthony Pinder of Network Cutts in Carlsbad

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Pinder.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Anthony. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My Barber journey began at 12 years old. As a kid, I always liked being clean cut, but I had issues with maintaining it. So I asked my dad could I use his hair clippers so I could cut my own hair that started my journey at first a lot of trial and error by Jr high all my peers took notice and wanted me as their barber. There was a wide gap in my career about 15 years, a lot of indecision about what was best for my career prospects in different areas.

In 2008 I moved to Oceanside, CA. With total conviction on having a barber career, I enrolled in the apprentice program to get my license. Worked a few different shops and in 201 4 started Network Cutts

Has it been a smooth road?
In business, there are always obstacles. What may work today may not work in 6 months. I love the challenge of success. Most of my challenges have come from trying not to become stagnant with how I attract clients and how I engage with them

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Network Cutts story. Tell us more about the business.
Network Cutts is a barbershop that specializes in a personal connection with each client backed by on-time professional service.

Over the years I like what has developed, the dialog, the comradery, the respect very special atmosphere between Barber and clients

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I definitely feel the barber industry is changing going from a traditional drop-in type of experience to a more personalized one on one experience.
