Meet Beverly Cunningham of bevysimplified in San Diego County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Beverly Cunningham.

Beverly, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was eight months pregnant with my 2nd child when I moved towards evolving into a lifestyle influencer. I had to start maternity leave early due to heart complications. Being on modified bed rest, I decided to start sharing my pregnancy through social media. What started as a fun hobby has slowly been scaling to be so much more! I’ve been able to connect with people while exploring to be vulnerable. Obtain courage to be further transparent in my everyday life. Form connections not only with an internet mom community but also companies that support the modern-day parent.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Admittedly I scrutinize how much I share and promote publicly labeled as my content. There are so many characteristics of being a woman. I’ve attempted that my IG blog solely highlights my personal views and experiences heavily on motherhood. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, I’m a multi-dimensional woman. I think in the months to come I might launch sharing other elements of me. It’s a bit nerve-racking but I’d love to attain a bigger audience to relate further with.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
What distinguishes me as a lifestyle influencer is sharing my opinions and experiences. Which in turn provides other people the courage to shine with the creative openings I’ve shared within my life. Examples of that could be a day trip, family vacation, newest toddler product, motivational quotes, entities that have aided me in my postpartum journey, coping with former miscarriages or what I enjoy from current beauty products.

What were you like growing up?
I’d say even to the current day I can be a bit guarded with how I open up. People are frequently surprised by my bubbly demeanor that I will be very cautious with what I let you in on in my life. Still, I always push myself to more available. I think since becoming a mother, I’ve really taken a new approach and leap into new notions. I want my kids to see me as a vivacious woman. Somebody who celebrates life and pushes to be ever-evolving.
