Today we’d like to introduce you to Brady Willmott.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was raised in a creative family, encouraged by my parents, family members, and teachers to express my creativity. My passion for art was well established by the high school, having to take numerous painting and vocational art classes and programs in Vermont and New York, then studying drawing and painting at School of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), earning a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts. I turned to tattooing as a career before refocusing on painting in 2012. Leading an active lifestyle, I’m constantly on the move and always inspired by my surroundings – the mountains of Vermont and Colorado, the beaches of California and Hawaii; from my darkest days to times of pure joy and beauty.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Obstacles take many different forms, but the worst setbacks have led to the greatest turning points of my life. The art draws from all of this.
Please tell us about Brady Willmott.
As a full-time artist, my main focus is creating fine art and oil paintings, with a unique and distinctive take on pop surrealism.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There are so many ‘what ifs’ in life, but if I changed anything, I wouldn’t be where I am.
