Meet Brie Marie of Pash Skin Studio in Carlsbad,Ca

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brie Marie.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I originally got started in the fashion industry when I was in high school. I modeled which took me to Europe to pursue a life out there. When it came down to it I realized that truly wasn’t what I wanted. But, I always enjoyed everything ‘beauty’ so figured I might as well remain in the same industry but find a way in which I can help others. So upon returning from Italy in 2010, I graduated beauty school and have been doing my Esthetic thing ever since!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all! I think the positive is I started my business at a young age so I didn’t see anything as a risk, more as exciting. I’ve been blessed to truly enjoy what I do and meet incredible people along the way. But running your own business is a sacrifice, You have to foresee the future you want and decide to take whatever steps you need to in order to get there. It’s been hard but I am grateful for every opportunity thus far!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Pash Skin Studio story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in 2 very specific treatments which REALLY WORK! I realized while going through the Esthetic Program in school that Yikes! There are a lot of options in which you can offer your clients, but I also realized not all of them give results. I did my research and ended up purchasing the HydraFacial TM. and Intraceuticals TM Oxygen equipment, They are two of the most sought-after facial treatments out there right now, and again they literally work! I feel like what makes my business different from others is first and foremost my pricing. I get the general public typically cant drop $300-$400 on a facial, so keeping my pricing competitive and affordable has been great for me. I think also what makes me different is me. I love what I do and the people I get to meet, and I think people can see that. Yeah, I have bills that need to be paid, but I don’t see each client as a dollar sign. I look forward to my visits and creating friendships with everyone that walks through my door! I also expanded my business and am the only Mobile – in Home Hydrafacial Specialist in southern CA, who brings my facials to YOU! It’s keeping me incredibly busy, but a fun change of scenery for me.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m not a true believer in luck. I believe in Hard work, and reaping what you sow. I’ve put a lot of hours into what I do today, and I am grateful it’s paying off 🙂
