Hi Catalina, so great to have you join us again. For folks who might have missed our earlier conversations, can you please take a minute to briefly introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Catalina Andrade, a Holistic Health Practitioner with a global practice based out of San Diego, CA and owner of Whole Bella. I love supporting and guiding working moms create a healthier and more relaxing lifestyle with one-minute meditations, essential oils and breathwork. With a background in education and a Masters in Organizational Leadership, I love to teach working moms practical and easy, but very effective stress relief techniques that can be incorporated into a self-care routine. With me moms learn that adding self-care to their busy lifestyle is easier than what they think. After more than 20 years’ experience as a Holistic Health Practitioner, it’s time for me to share with you my knowledge in creating a relaxing lifestyle that brings great benefits to you and your family.

Why is self-care so important?
Self-care is a must for everyone, but specially for busy moms who are juggling so many things at once. Physical, mental and especially emotional stress can take a huge toll even on the healthier body. I have seen this happen many times with my clients. Although moms might feel like self-care is just another thing on the to do list, the reality is that self-care is a must. Self-care is the best way to keep yourself healthy in body, mind and emotions and if any of these three are out of balance it will be easier for you to know where the imbalance is coming from. A good self-care routine makes you have a deeper connection with yourself and create more positive outcomes in your life. Adding self-care to your daily routine, increases your self-esteem which can be reflected in your positive attitude towards yourself and others. Self-care is basically taking care of yourself.

What is your unique approach to self-care?
Like I mentioned before, working moms are always on the go. Many things are happening at once in their life. Dealing with work, family, kids and sometimes higher education can make moms feel there is no time for self-care. There are a couple of self-care myths out there that I have seen in my clients, but the number one myth always has to do with time. This is why I’m all about teaching effective fast self-care techniques. My approach is simple; do small but meaningful self-care that supports your body, mind and emotions. Many coaches focus on eating healthier, and exercise for self-care. Which is great! Yes, these are part of a self-care routine. But I personally like to focus on the emotional side of self-care. When I help moms create their self-care routine, I give them short and effective exercises that involve breathwork, meditation and the use of essential oils. Creating a self-care routine that incorporates these three tools will have a positive effect in their body, mind and definitely their emotions.

How do you support moms who need guidance in creating a self-care routine?
I have created the Self Care for Moms 2.0 online course. Moms can start their 21-day self-care journey with the Self Care for Moms 2.0 course or just add a couple of the exercises to enhance their own self-care routine. The course is divided in three modules; the mind, the emotions and the body. Each module has unique exercises that can be used alone or in combination to create that overall self-care balance. Some examples of my self-care and stress relief techniques on this course are my famous “1-minute meditation”, essential oil blends to support emotions and breathwork. The best part is that once a mom decides to start her self-care journey, she’ll have access to it for a lifetime and she will get all future updates and bonuses for free.
