Meet Charles Oreve of The X Concept in Kearny Mesa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Oreve.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Charles. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my activity in Paris, France, in 2000. In 2001 I moved to San Diego, and started my agency, The X Concept. Later on, some clients in the Extreme Sports industry got me to move to Hawaii, where I operated my company for over ten years. I have been back in San Diego for the past three years, working for clients in a lot of different industries, including Tech, Healthcare, Biotechnologies, Life Sciences, and more.

Being a part of a client’s organization for different missions with one common goal -> to improve.

Improving technology, systems and processes, lead generation, client retention, staff efficiency, team cohesion, relations between services. This is what I have been providing clients since day one that this company has been created.

My passion is about helping others better themselves, Inspiring them to try their hardest, do their best.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a fairly smooth road for me, as they key is being reactive. Ten years ago, during the recession, there was some readjustments that needed to be made, however everything panned out just fine.

There is challenges to be overcome for every organization I collaborate with, this is simply why they hire me. Optimizing systems and processes, coaching their staff, setting up new technology, there is always challenges, but this is what gets me started and keeps me going.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The X Concept story. Tell us more about the business.
The X Concept is a Marketing consulting business, it’s set apart from others as it encompasses strategic, tactical and execution within the range of services. We develop the strategy with you, elaborate the tactics and take care of the execution of what needs to be done to take your organization to the next level. We also coach key members of the organization in different functions, from C-Level executives, managers to sales forces, we can improve the ROI at every level.

I make sure to spearhead all activities with clients personally, and take the helm of every single project. As a consultant, I take pride of integrating the organization I work with, when giving points of view, I will always say “we” and not “you”, and will always suggest something you could “consider doing” and not “should” do. No one likes being told what to do, we are there to collaborate.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Digital Marketing has really taken over the past few years, so I can see a constant growth. Now when it comes to technologies and channels being used, I guess I could tell you, but would lose my edge on this.

Seriously, I see more and more automation and predictive strategies to maximize lead generation, using very targeted campaigns and making sure 100% of the people you communicate to have an interest in what you have to offer.
