Meet Diana McCaskill of Fruition Consulting in North Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana McCaskill.

Husband and wife team, Richard & Diana McCaskill, started Fruition Consulting in 2005 developing administrative infrastructures for businesses. Since that time, we have incorporated event management, attendee outreach and sponsor solicitation for national events.

Has it been a smooth road?
Since both of us are entrepreneurs, there are always bumps in the road. We had a large client that we worked with for 8 years who decided to sell her business without any notice. Instantly we lost 80% of our income because we focused more on our clients business than our own. In the struggle to recoup that revenue, it was a good lesson to put our business first. We were so focused on the weeds, that we could not see the forest. As business owners, you use these lessons as step stones.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Fruition Consulting story. Tell us more about the business.
Fruition Consulting is a full-service event management company that plans, markets, and produces meetings, conferences, seminars, and events including annual sales meetings, networking receptions, symposiums, board meetings, and conferences.

From our office in San Diego, we efficiently manage meetings internationally. From concept to completion, we partner with you to find the best location for your event and deliver exceptional experiences for your attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.

We are known for our creativity and administrative skills to produce flawless events.

Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years?  Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?
I foresee that Artificial intelligence and Voice Technology will have a greater presence at events, from planning to attendee experience. The events industry is here to stay… while technology has connected people internationally, the need to meet face to face will continue to be necessary to enhance those relationships. Humans are social creatures… this will continue to be the case in the next 5 – 10 years.
