Flora, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a former model, I have always blown away on how the stylists have the ability to transform me. So I decided to enroll in Canadian’s No.1 makeup school Blanche MacDonald Center. From there, I volunteered in numbers of photoshoots, fashion shows which leads me to many opportunities to work with numbers of cosmetic companies including Sephora, M.A.C Cosmetics, Hermès, and Lancôme.
In the meantime, I also joined one of the top bridal company from Vancouver- The Love Team. It was the hardest yet the most rewarding job out of them all. If I wasn’t working, I was watching YouTube videos about hair styling and makeup. I became one of the key stylists after working as an assistant for 6 months.
I’ve always wanted to become an entrepreneur. So it was clear to me to start this company after moved to San Diego. I started offering free makeup and hair sessions to photographers and people I ran into in public so I can have some photos on my website. The business is picking up quickly from words of mouths and Instagram.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, Like many other businesses, this wasn’t easy. From skills to marketing the business, I was constantly trying and learning the new way to do makeup, hair, and marketing. Some succeed, but many failed.

We gather a group of artists who specialize Bridal, photoshoot and events, hair and makeup design, We customize our services according to your needs and skin color, personality, head shape, facial and bone features, length of your hair and the other unique qualities. We provide styling advice based on your unique individual needs.
