Meet Melissa Michaels of Inpeloto in La Jolla

Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Michaels.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Melissa. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I’m a creative, an award-winning author, former model and producer. I decided to make products that would remind people of INfinite PEace LOve and TOgetherness = Inpeloto. I started with jewelry, making silver signature pieces with all things INfinite, PEace, LOve and TOgetherness. Then designing t-shirts happened and continued with creating t-shirt bags.

Because of the plastic bag ban in California and Hawaii, I provide an alternative to plastic bags. My t-shirt bags are multi-functional. You can use them at the grocery store, throw your yoga gear or beach towels in them. They have a boho chic vibe. Each color represents an element of Inpeloto. The crystals I use are representative of infinity, peace, love, and togetherness. It’s all energy and consciousness.

Has it been a smooth road?
Time is a challenge because there’s not enough time to get everything done.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Inpeloto – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Inpeloto is a socially conscious brand consisting of artistic expressions in the form of eco-friendly jewelry, accessories, and clothing.

Inpeloto comprises of handcrafted jewelry line called Inpeloto Bella, Jewelry with Conscience™ which integrates a love of poetry into the designs. Inpeloto BodyWear Clothing with Conscience™ is limited edition t-shirts with universal positive symbolic graphics, socially conscious messages for men and women, along with t-shirt bags.

I created a word for my company, and it is intentionally woven throughout my designs. I make everything in my brand. My brand has purpose.

Inpeloto’s mission: Keeping it conscious by harmonizing social actions while being world relevant through social transformation by implementing infinite, peace, love, and togetherness for daily existence of conscious actions.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
As a Native San Diegan, I love this city! We are close to the ocean, desert, mountains and border. We have the best Thai food here.

The weather is amazing most of the time. You can workout at the gym or nature can be your gym.

Homelessness has increased. The City can do a better job utilizing social services and education to alleviate the problem.

Imagine what our world would look like if we experienced infinite, peace, love and togetherness.
