Meet Iryna Yemengulova of Farfalla Fitness in Claremont Mesa, Mira Mesa and 4S Ranch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Iryna Yemengulova.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Iryna . So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
When I was growing up in my country ( Ukraine) I was part of Rhythmic gymnastics Team, I trained and compete in Ukraine my native country, Bulgaria, and Internationally. In Ukraine, I trained at Chernomorec school in Odessa and was one of Ukraine’s gymnasts of interest. Throughout my athletic career, I have participated and placed top 3 in many national and international competitions.

I completed my career in the early 2000″s and was granted the title of Master of Sports. After completing my career in professional sports, I went on to coaching for five ears internationally. In 2005 I moved to the United States and have worked as the main character Aurora in Blue Horizon Show in Orlando, Florida for 4 years and San Diego, CA for 5 years, After I completed my career in Entertainment World I started my own program Farfalla Fitness Flexibility and Strength Program for Athletes and Adults.

True out my professional Athletic career I have traveled around the world and have watched many Athletes in different sports fields, I have seen same mistakes over and over again lots of this kids were missing the correct technique and Flexibility training. Kids were getting injured from not knowing how to do it correct, effective and safe way.

That’s why I have created Farfalla Fitness Flexibility and Strength program, so we can give Athletes opportunity of a GOOD training to help them become best in their field effective and safe way.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
To leave my steady job and start something new from scratch was very scary. I was pregnant with my baby girl at that time as well. People that I know they were telling me that I should not do it, I won’t succeed and I will have no job to go back to. As you can imagine it was scary 🙂 But thanks to my very supportive husband Mikalai Liubezny that believed in me and the program have given me confidence and strength to do it all.

And I did it I started my classes, for the longest time we have had only one customer, but as soon as she started to show results, our business start growing in California are. I have to say that every beginning takes a lot of time and hard work, as long as you don’t give up and keep working hard, you will achieve anything you wish for.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Farfalla Fitness is a new innovated Flexibility and Strength program for Athletes and Dancers. Stretching is a cornerstone on which all athletic training is founded. We created a comprehensive training program that utilized unique elements from rhythmic gymnastics, helping young athletes gain maximum flexibility and strength while learning correct posture and stretching technique. We offer Group, Private and Masterclasses. Last week we have launched the Online Flexibility training For Athletes and Dancers Worldwide. You can check it out at www.farfallafitness.com/online

I am the most proud of how our program changes lives of all this upcoming Athletes and Dancers, to see the smile on their faces when they win or achieve the goals that they could not do for such a long time, being recognized, get complimented how much they have grown as an athletes and all of that is Farfalla fitness work, On the end of the day that’s all it matter to see these kids happy, confident in themselves.

What were you like growing up?
When I was growing up I was very mature for my age, I was the sweetest child that would not hurt a fly 🙂

I loved the sport of Rhythmic gymnastics, I lived for it could not wait to get to the gym first and leave last, I was very hard on my self I had to get it the right way even if it took a 100 time to do the same element over and over again. Sport have to build a very good discipline in me, I think that’s what helps me a lot achieving all my goals as well. Honestly, I didn’t like the school I could not stay still when I was reading books I had to do it on a headstand, or I was doing splits and so on 🙂 so I loved playing all kind of different sports, mostly with boys they challenge me more then girls did.
