Jaime, please share your story with us.
Bloominari is a full service, small business marketing agency that uses a variety of online marketing strategies to enhance businesses’ online image, generate leads and make businesses bloom. We love to help growing businesses and they love our results.

Located in San Diego, California, we are a leading bilingual digital marketing company in the area providing business strategy, marketing, content and design solutions for small businesses nearby and throughout the country. Our firm’s passion for consulting, design, technology, working with people, and exploring the complex realm of doing business in today’s world is what drives the team to constantly seek innovative ways to help companies embrace change, grow and succeed.

Our team has the creative ideas, the ambitious drive and the know-how that only comes with more than a decade of experience. We are proud to have been helping growing businesses bloom online since 2003.

We would love to help you with your business goals or marketing visions!

Our story begins a few years after human birth, in the right side of a brain, when a very interesting ability called creativity was born.

Creativity is the ability to generate new ideas or thoughts using our imagination, and imagination is the driver of innovations and unexpected ways of thinking. So why did our story start with creativity? Because at our company and team’s core, it’s all about being creative and using design thinking to provide solutions to our client’s needs.

More specifically, our story begins when I decided to use the creativity that I had always expressed while growing up on a more modern challenge. At age 17, in the summer of 2002, I decided to use my creativity to completely re-design and re-develop my high school’s website. So I spent three months working on a new graphic web design for the website, organizing the original website’s content, shooting lots of school photographs, and creating much more new content. I then transformed the graphic design into a web-ready format and began building the school’s future new site.

Although this was an unsolicited project, upon returning to school as a Senior, I decided to present the project to the school’s principal and suggested that the new website be used to replace the existing one. Impressed by the new website, its new features and fresh new design, the principal asked me to prepare a presentation to the school’s board in order to get their approval. Pleasantly surprised, I presented my new website, the board approved and the website was replaced. As part of the associated student body (ASB), I maintained the website on a daily basis, interacted with staff and teachers and ensured every student had access to the academic and social information they needed for a great high school experience.

A year after graduation, upon the return of a gap year abroad, I was recommended by a school’s friend for building a business website, giving birth to Bloominari. Since 2003, Bloominari has been offering small businesses and organizations with marketing, design and strategy consulting services to help them ensure growth and success. A few years ago, I joined forces with other successful entrepreneurs to be able to offer a more complete range of services for small businesses in San Diego. Today, we ensure our creativity continue to present itself in everything we do.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not a been a smooth road, there’s certainly been ups and downs along the way.

Starting a company from scratch, initially without a real team, was very hard. I started on my own, and partner along with a friend in order for our company to have a bigger design portfolio to showcase on our website.

Now, almost 4 years later, we’ve been able to successfully grow our team to 8 people, and are now much more stable in both terms of staff, ongoing projects, cash flow, and a more stable company overall.

Struggles have been mostly related to human resources, both for internal work as well as for team members to complete our client’s work.

I somehow always managed to complete all of our project, as I personally have the graphic design, web design and marketing technical background to do any of the work in case we didn’t have enough team members to cover the work. Yet now, I’m mostly in charge of business development and sales, while I have my team handle project management and the rest of the services we offer.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Bloominari – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
As of 2017, we decided to shift the focus of our digital marketing agency. As of now, we’re focused on offering digital marketing services with a specialization in sales and marketing automation services, processes implementation and training.

Our company offers a range of classical and modern digital marketing services, but are now heavily investing our resources to be known as the leader in complete lead generation campaigns and overall automation of sales and marketing processes.

These services for lead generation include setting up online advertising campaigns to generate traffic to websites or landing pages, landing page design and development, lead capturing integrated into a CRM system (customer relationship management software), and automation of sales and marketing processes, including through advanced e-mail marketing automation. Bloominari also just became the first US-based AgileCRM certified partner, an up-and-coming small business CRM and automation platform.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
San Diego has the perfect weather, it’s the perfect balance between a very big city (Like LA) yet small enough to not be hectic, not have too much traffic, and still be super pleasant to live in.

San Diego has a startup community, which is great for innovation and social events. It’s also one of the most important cities for the marketing community (Social Media Marketing world and Traffic & Conversion Summit happen here yearly).

San Diego is like the better version of the Mexico I’m from. Same great climate, lots of Latinos, plus all the great benefits and beauty of an American city.

Like the least: Nothing really, it’s great!
