Meet Jason Kieffer of Premier Fitness Camp in Carlsbad

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Kieffer.

With an extraordinary expertise in holistic nutrition and prestigious degree from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), Chef Kieffer has redefined the kitchen as a place of true healing from the tables of New York’s most esteemed restaurants to the world headquarter of Google and Microsoft and even into the intimate dining room of Forbes mega moguls.

Currently the Executive Wellness Chef at Southern California’s premier, all-inclusive fitness and weight loss resort, PFC Fitness Camp, Chef Kieffer delivers a healthy dose of metabolism revving meals, the latest scientific findings in nutrition and of course interactive cooking classes to empower guests for long-term success under his recently launched, Culinary Fit Program.

Prior to PFC, he served as the Executive Chef and Wellness Coach at Intermountain Healthcare’s Park City Medical Center, Executive Chef at the preeminent Bellevue Club Hotel—the AAA Four Diamond club and hotel consistently ranked as the #1 hotel in Seattle and #1 resort in the Pacific Northwest, and revolutionized the culinary culture for Microsoft’s international campuses. His knowledge combined with an insatiable curiosity for the healing powers of food bring PFC Fitness Camp clients a wealth of invaluable information and intriguing ingredients that truly change lives.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not quite. The life of a chef can be very difficult on their personal health, family and lifestyle.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Premier Fitness Camp – what should we know?
We are a live-in transformational fitness camp located in Carlsbad, CA. I am a Holistic Chef and Wellness Coach that shares the dream of making positive changes for our guest and team.

Our team consists of world class trainers, behavior coaches and culinary artists.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Of course I am going to mention 2 of my key mentors, Zach Cutler and Chris Butt. They truly had the vision since I worked with them in Park City, Utah and happen to be the owners as well.
