Meet Jimmy and Tiffanie Roblero of Jimmy & Tiffanie’s Taco’s

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jimmy and Tiffanie Roblero. 

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Jimmy & Tiffanie’s Taco’s has been doing business in Southern CA since 2016. We originally started off as a catering business with two BBQ pits that Jimmy welded together. Doing private events, ranging from birthday parties to weddings. Our main mission from the very beginning was to create a solid financial foundation for our kids and grandchildren. Not so that they won’t have to work, but that they will have something to work for and carry on for their families. Something to hold onto with pride and dignity. To carry on a humble heart and create new relations. A family business to be proud of. That is based on the love, compassion, and mercy of our God. Eph4:32 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s a competitive market out there and calculating for a profit is tough when you have to figure out an estimated guest count on your own. The event coordinators do their best in helping out with those numbers, but when you deal with our food it is all fresh- and what’s made that day has to be sold, or we take a loss. We also find challenging trying to find time to balance family needs with business needs because in our home the Lord is first, family second, and EVERYTHING else last. Not to mention all the nay-sayers and keeping positive thoughts in mind. Patience and faith is surely tested. If you can work with your husband a full shift in a little hot box and not put him on the menu then we call that a good day 🙂 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
One thing that we would like people to know is that this is a family-based business, carving and creating a way for our children and future generations to learn first-hand the fruits of hard work. We are known for our quality of food and presentation, no corners are cut in both areas in the preparation of food, display, marinating techniques in all of our meats and rice/beans. Keeping everything authentic without having to cross the border. The most thing that I am proud of regarding brand is the way we carry ourselves; we pride ourselves in presentation, flavor, and most important customer service. We do our best to treat every individual with a humble heart and as family. 

We’d love to hear about what you think about risk-taking.
We would totally consider ourselves as risk takers. Banked everything on a food truck with no promise of success, dealing with a market that most people will think is overpopulated. But it comes down to our motto, ” You gotta Try.”
