Meet Keao Friedrich of Connect with Keao

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keao Friedrich.

Keao, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I always knew I had a special gift but I suppressed it all my life. At the age of 9, I overheard my grandmother tell my mother “she has ESP”. I thought I had a disease!

When I realized not everyone saw and felt the energy the way I did, I tried to shut it down. It made me feel different and weird and I felt like I didn’t fit in. My current dog Toby helped me to embrace my gifts of connecting with the animals.

When we lived in Hawaii, Toby came to me in a dream. So clearly in the dream, this two-toned grey and white terrier mutt with loving eyes pounced on my bed. With his tail wagging and tongue sticking out, he then stood on my chest with a sense of urgency. Three times I had this dream until I finally found him!

Toby is a rescue from the Hawaiian Humane Society. 14 years ago, when we saw each other in real life, our eyes and our hearts locked. It was a deep remembrance of finding each other again. The urgency in the dream was, he was going to be euthanized the day after we found him.

Since then I’ve developed my gifts with teachers and mentors and I now fully embrace my gifts of seeing energy, feeling the energy and hearing the energy and use these gifts to help people experience a deeper connection with their pets through Animal Communication.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I could talk for days about struggles of coming out of the closet as an Animal Communicator and Medium!

For me personally, it was a difficult journey to learn to not care about what other people thought of me. I am referring to the fact that not everyone believes in what I do and that is OK. It’s good to be skeptical. I was too at first!

Every time I get to witness my clients experiencing healing, understanding and a deeper connection through detailed messages from their pets, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for these gifts. I can even be grateful for the struggles, they’ve taught me a lot.

Connect with Keao – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am an Animal Communicator. I help people feel a deeper connection to their pets by communicating their needs, wellness issues and possible reasons for changes in their behavior. The animals will project images or have me feel what they are feeling so that I can convey their messages to my clients.

I also connect people with their pets who have passed on. This is always an honor to do so because it brings peace and healing to the grieving family members. The pets will sometimes show how they passed, they will then walk us down memory lane with some detailed highlights of their life with their humans. During these sessions, there is laughter, tears and there can even be a release of any feelings around guilt surrounding their passing.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment so far has been fully embracing my gifts. Once I did that, my career as an Animal Communicator took off and therefore I was able to be a confident conduit for the humans to connect with and better understand the animals.
