Meet Kyle LeBlanc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle LeBlanc.

Kyle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
At a young age, I became crafty and creative doing construction with my dad. About two years ago I moved into my own apartment. After designing/building all of my furniture I sat back and realized I didn’t have anything on my walls. I began to look art up online and quickly laughed to myself thinking about just making my own art. I ran to Walmart and bought a bunch of cardboard sheets.

I threw down a bunch of random paintings and finally had my apartment complete. As friends came over to hang they quickly began to buy my art. As paintings sold, I had to replace the empty wall space. I quickly fell in love. Before I knew it I had over 50 paintings stacked up in one of my extra rooms. As paintings were selling I began to think about turning this new passion into something more. This is when it all came together.

Going on a rant now but there was a public shooting at a middle school in Florida and it had a huge impact on me. Its terrible hearing about shootings. Unfortunately, these type of events pass by fairly quickly. This shooting was different. I saw a video on social media of these kids crying and scared for their lives as gunshots went off in the background. I got sick following up on this event.

Everyone was talking about how we need to change gun laws and other reasonings that haven’t and won’t help solve this. After thinking hard and talking to different people about this event I realized a simple solution. It all comes back to the community and bringing people together. Sure that sounds simple but the trick to this is bringing people together in a creative way. I really think if that kid who did the shooting had a friend and someone to chat with his life would have been dramatically different.

Alright, I swear I’m not crazy, tying it all together now. With wanting to make a positive community impact in the world and spread the love of my art, LeBlanc Co. was created. I wanted to create something that was much more than myself. Sure I could have been an independent artist and also start a community service but I believe combining the two would bring a new and different edge that people can gather around. Turning my art into a positive lifestyle.

My company emphasizes heavy on being original, 1/1. I believe if people focus more on being themselves and not so much on who our society expects them to be our world would become much more beautiful and peaceful. For the community side of my company, I want to help all sorts of people. Although I haven’t dived too deep into this side of my company yet. I have plans to get involved with the blind community, the homeless and people with depression. Creativity and originality is at the core of LeBlanc Co. We strive to bring everyone together despite their backgrounds and beliefs.

My company focuses on several of different things.

1.) Original Paintings: bringing my creative vision to life, sharing with people to critique and enjoy.

2.) Custom Clothing: supplying designs for people to wear and style within a unique way.

3.) Everyday Apparel: a simple way for people to support and be apart of LeBlanc Co.

Company statement:

The diversity of our world is what inspires our vision. There is no such thing as normal in our creative perspective; we celebrate uniqueness, 1/1.

Love is what it comes down to. We want you to feel it, experience it, and spread it by viewing the world in its rawest form through our designs. There is something remarkable about being implanted in the world, and that’s exactly what LeBlanc Co. aspires to do.

If you have any further questions or need me to clarify/elaborate more please just let me know!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not at all but I am loving the struggles because I am not only learning about the business world as I go but also life lessons. For sure the more people I meet and share my story with the easier things are becoming. Doing my art has been smooth, I have painting over 200-250 paintings throughout the past 2 years. I hate being on my phone but being present on social media has been a bit struggle but each new day I am making progress. I love this vision that I have so much that no struggle has came close to turning me down.

Tell us more about your art.
We focus on three selling points:

1.) Original Paintings: bringing my creative vision to life, sharing with people to critique and enjoy.

2.) Custom Clothing: supplying designs for people to wear and style within a unique way.

3.) Everyday Apparel: a simple way for people to support and be apart of LeBlanc Co.

Lately, we have also been taking custom painting requests which have been a hit but we may shut that down soon to keep the focus on 1/1 original arts.

What sets us apart:

We are more than just art/ a brand and we don’t sell prints of our art. We are also more than just a clothing brand. We are four brands combined into one.

Aside from the selling points, we strive to focus on that community engagement.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
This is a part I have been seeking in the back of my mind, I really haven’t had any mentors with this vision but I do appreciate a few family members and friends for supporting what I am doing. I do what I do because I love it and I know it’s right/ for me. Support/cheerleads isn’t a concern of mine.
