Meet Laura Van Tyne and Tina Erwin of The Karmic Path in Poway and La Mesa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Van Tyne and Tina Erwin.

Our Story: A psychic child, a ghost, and a dinner party.

Those were the curious elements that brought Tina and Laura together. Laura had been looking for someone to help with a ghost child who was harassing her family and animals. This situation became tenuous, at best, when the ghost child began to physically harm their daughter (who is also psychic and can see and hear ghosts). The karmic stage was set when one evening at a dinner party when Tina was asked, “What do you do?” Her answer was a simple, “I teach the living to help the dead.” This led the dinner guest to give Laura Tina’s phone number and the rest is history.

What does this have to do with karma?

Laura listened to her intuition in her 18-month search for finding the right help. Because she was so diligent in asking for what she wanted and needed for the ghost child and her family, she created a karmic ripple and that ripple intersected with Tina, ultimately forming The Karmic Path. Interestingly, Laura was told by a psychic that she would meet women in uniform that would profoundly change her life.

Karma never ever wastes energy.

Theirs is not a typical story. Tina is a retired US Navy Commander and Laura is a retired public school teacher. What they have in common is they are both psychics and spiritualists. Now they are a team who helps others in similar situations. This includes a weekly radio show, The Karmic Path, online courses, and books.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
One of the hardest things for us to deal with is the process of educating people, because many of the things they think will work to clear the dead, actually will never work. We have had to chart a course that is separate from the typical new age script. We don’t do readings or seances and we don’t tell futures. We open the door to an entirely new way of looking at spirituality and that is not often an easy road. People either have a focused belief in their religion or have been harmed by their faith and have embraced the standard New Age set of beliefs.

We also spend a huge amount of time helping the dead and the stories they tell us would make the angels weep. Their stories make us ever more dedicated to helping them. It’s exceptionally hard work.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about The Karmic Path – what should we know?
The Karmic Path is a company that provides a spiritual service. We help people with unusual spiritual problems and we do this by constantly creating the logic trail that unites spirituality, science, and psychology, for both the ‘normal’ and paranormal worlds.

We work with private clients who may have a haunted home and real estate agents who have homes that are difficult to sell.

By helping people to clear a haunted home or property, we enable a client to take back their power back from these subtle energies that greatly affect them. Then, they are able to live a fuller and happier life.

What sets us apart from other people in our field is that we actively teach people how to clear their own spaces of negative energies. We remove the need for someone to hire a medium and then question if what that medium said is true or not. At the same time, we discuss the karmic elements of what is happening to our clients so that they may have a greater understanding of what is happening.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
We both have to say that we have had wonderful supporters all along the way. First and foremost, our very patient husbands and children! Ours is not an easy and tangible path. They have stood by us, supported us and helped us in so many ways. We are also grateful to Dr. Pat and Producer Cat, and the entire team at Transformation Talk Radio for giving us a wonderful platform for our radio show.
