Meet Lindsey Trubia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Trubia. Them and their team share their story with us below:

A passionate entrepreneur and lifelong athlete, Lindsey is a Providence College graduate (B.S. in Health Policy and Business Management) and a former Division 1 women’s soccer player. As an executive leader, Lindsey worked in the world of corporate health care for more than a decade before her near-death experience after two-wave hold-down surfing on the north shore of Oahu. Led her to the holistic meditative practice of freediving, big-wave breathwork camp in Hawaii, and Banglore, India where she learned Sudarshan Kriya from Sri Ravi Shankar himself. Lindsey’s life forever changed as her breath journey deepened.

Ever since Lindsey has been determined to live a life of purpose and impact. Lindsey quickly shifted towards integrated health and breath, certified in and teaching Yoga, Reiki, Buteyko Method, Oxygen Advantage (OA), and the Wim Hof Method all around the world. Lindsey’s passion resides in the next frontier of functional medicine: one where doctors, dentists, breath practitioners, and the entire health professional work in much closer collaboration, and one where we consider the whole person, utilizing lifestyle and behavioral changes as the true drivers of healing. Simply put the focus gets to be prevention versus treatment, one conscious breath at a time.

She currently serves as Peak Flow’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and visionary. Each day begins with a meditation on how Peak Flow and the advisory board, can empower Humans to optimize their full potential from the inside out. Her main focus is to bring Hybrid Peak Performance Programs mental and physical to employers, NCAA sports teams, and compassionate healthcare providers and their patients.

An avid surfer, free diver, traveler, and adventurer, Lindsey embraces big waves, hot saunas, and cold ice baths, and spends every waking moment outside, often in the company of her partner, surfboard, yoga mat, and dog Lucy.

Lindsey believes nature is our best healer.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The Startup world takes GRIT and hurdles that I’ve never experienced in sport or in the corporate world. But, when you get goosebumps every morning driven by passion, anything is possible. Entrepreneurship is well worth the risk. Our species, earth, and economy need us!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Start-Up Executive with a demonstrated history of teaching peak performance, breath health, and lifestyle programming with elite sports teams, c-suite leaders, and healthcare patients. A passionate entrepreneur and lifelong athlete, leading Peak Flow’s platform integration with key Health, Sport, and Work partners.

Our Peak Flow offerings provide Peak Performance and Mental Health support with Hybrid in-person and online services. Our main focus is re-teaching our species how to breathe accordingly to metabolic needs. Knowing 90% of humans are breathing wrong leads to a laundry list of chronic illnesses and diseases… I have no choice but to look back and make the biggest impact we can.

In my past experience as a corporate healthcare executive, I learned a lot. A lot about how our healthcare system has become a business and less focused on compassionate care and treating the root cause. Knowing the inner workings, it’s my mission to bring breath to compassionate healthcare providers, employers/teams, and NCAA student-athletes.

As a prior division, 1 athlete supporting the Sports world is closest to my heart.

I also host local Peak Flow and Wim Hof workshops in Southern California!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Our city thrives off nature, active communities, surf, and amazing food. Encinitas reminds me of Hawaii’s aloha spirit with a deeper goal-driven mindset. I love that Mexico is such a short drive away!

Dislikes – the train seems to be a bit loud 🙂
